How to Get Good Grades in Class

In today’s generation, millions of students are hooked to social networking  sites – web platforms that allow to connect and share to other people around the planet. It cannot be denied that these websites have taken big  part of every student’s lifestyle. From early morning they wake-up until they go to their beds, they want to be updated on what is happening around social media.

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the like provide huge benefits to all mankind. Many of us are able to know what is happening around us such as updates in typhoons, floods, scandals, health issues, politics and etc. Also, these social sites allow to market businesses or promote campaigns; however, they, too, have disadvantage effects especially to students.

Many of learners today are greatly affected by these social networking sites in terms of getting good grades in class. In my interview to 20 college students, all of them agreed that they sometimes fail to pass exams because they spend too much time with these sites instead of studying  their lessons.

In this blog, I wanna share how to get good grades in class in this modern time. Below are some simple tips that will surely help you.

1.       Attend Classes Regularly

Think that attending the class regulary is an obligation. Avoid sleeping too late at night so  you wont feel sleepy when waking up early. (In fact, this technique is often overlooked.) #ATTENDCLASSES

2.       Keep Away your Gadgets when Studying

When inside the class or studying your lessons, put away your gadgets. I know many of you are using smart phones for course subjects that need calculations, but I discourage you to this style. Why? FB, Twitter, IG and the like are just one click away.#KEEPAWAY

3.       Control your Time Usage

Social networking sites are not bad but there should be a sense of  control every time you use them. Also, I wanna remind you that these platforms are not your diaries that need to be updated every now and then.  So please, stop spending too much time on these.#CONTROL

4.       Avoid being FAME-WHORE

What is a fame whore? A person who keeps on updating their social profiles every now and then, regardless of how humiliating or demeaning, to get the attention of others. #FAMEWHORE

5.       Be Goal Oriented

Be responsible enough as a student. Have focus to what is your target. Remember, your parents send you to school to learn things for your future career. Always remember that. #GOALORIENTED

I hope this blog helps you.
